Bespoke WordPress and Event Booking System for a CABI agriculture programme

We worked with the CASA Programme (within CABI) to design and create a new website for the CASA Programme, the website features a bespoke method of handling events allowing the team at the CASA Programme to share and manage virtual events that they host.

The Challenge

The original website was not initially built for the move to virtual events and as a result had a number of features that weren’t applicable that made managing events difficult, on top of this managing event attendees was not possible without a lot of manual work.

The Solution

Using Twenty Eighty Online’s accumulated knowledge of WordPress we were able to create a bespoke WordPress theme that would allow for the CASA Programme to create and manage events and attendees in one centralised location, on top of this we created a bespoke plugin to further facilitate the events in future websites.
